Nightfire is a game based on Ian Fleming's Character James Bond and is one of several computer games that have been released under the James Bond theme, such as Agent Under Fire, Everything or Nothing and From Russia with love. Nightfire was until recently the only game released on the PC platform, but in October 2008 'Quantum of Solace' by Activision was released for the PC market as well.

Nightfire has unique story line for the single player missions, Bond must Investigate the Phoenix International Corporation, run by the green industrialist Rafael Drake. MI6 Intelligence points to Drake having stolen a secret component of the missile guidance hardware intended for the U.S. Space Weapons Platform. With the help of Q and other agents you meet along the way, you get to play 9 missions taking you all over the world to exotic and sinister locations.

The Multiplayer games are all based on the many James Bond Film locations, such as Space Station form MoonRaker and the Caviar factory from The World Is Not Enough.
