From what I remember, I IP-banned a hell of a lot of russia and ukraine. Those 2 countries are the worst (best?) for forum spamming.

Time to update the forum :P

Oh nvm, I removed the spammer along with his posts, he posted a whole story in here, but his profile linked to a kiddie pr0n site.

Every Member needs now to be confirmed by an admin. The bad thing is that my mailbox is full of spam lol. I got like about 20 new forum members per day that need to be confirmed and everyone is in a seperate mail. But it's a quite good solution now. At least spam moved from forum into my mailbox!!!

I bet 19 of those new forum members are bots every day.
Are you in need of:
    Someone to pwn?
    A poem?
    Clarification of NFBL rules?
    A spamming buddy?
    An NFBL Admin?
Then you've come to the right place! :)

Slip... WHYYY??? oh well... just have to wait for the next kiddie pr0n spammer :boo-hoo:

That's a potential solution. However, how can you know who is a bot and who isn't?
I used to just go to the admin control panel and delete the new accounts if they had suspicious names.
Another possibility is to go to the page of 'inactive users', where you can simply select them all and delete. That should decrease the forum member count from 950 (which i kept it stable at) to about 150 or something...
